Durrell Cullens hails from Indianapolis, Indiana, and has a rich educational background that includes attending Tennessee State University for two years, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Indiana Tech, and obtaining a Master of Science in Financial Planning (MSFP) from the University of Georgia. His journey in the financial sector began in 2016 at a prominent Fortune 500 bank, where he developed a comprehensive skill set in finance, covering areas such as small business, investments, taxes, lending, and mortgages. During his tenure, he also excelled in managing a team, driving sales, enhancing client experiences, and ensuring operational success.

Transitioning to the mortgage industry full-time, Durrell sought the flexibility to make a more substantial impact on his clients' financial journeys. As a mortgage broker, he is committed to finding the best mortgage programs for his clients, ensuring a faster, easier, and more efficient home buying process. His dedication to client success is reflected in his reputation for being timely, an effective communicator, honest, personable, and authentically client-focused.

Durrell’s passion for the financial industry was ignited during a personal finance class in his undergraduate studies. Realizing the widespread lack of knowledge about investments, taxes, and insurance, he was driven to help others become financially empowered and informed.

Outside of work, Durrell enjoys traveling and exploring the unique aspects of different cities. A memorable trip to San Francisco and the Sequoia National Park sparked his love for the outdoors and appreciate for nature’s beauty. Durrell is also a devoted family man, married with two children.
